I started my business when I was 14 years old, my parents wanted me to get a job to earn some money but I have always been interested in doing my own thing, I just I didn’t know what. So after a lot of research I came across block print fabric from India and I instantly loved it!
I had a beautiful skirt that I had picked up in France and I just knew it would look gorgeous in a cotton block print fabric…. that’s when I thought of doing maxi skirts.
My Mum gave me a loan to start me off and I ordered 30 skirts from a small female led company in India. It was scary at the time as I was worried they wouldn’t arrive - but I risked it and I am so happy that I did.
The skirts arrived, I was so pleased with how cool and stylish the skirts looked, they looked even better than my designs.
I dropped my first 30 skirts via instagram DMS in July 2025 and sold out in a week which I was shocked by… so I just ordered another drop of skirts in new limited edition fabrics and I have been doing that on repeat ever since.
In July 2026 something insane happened, I put a new drop of skirts online via my Mum’s website and within 4 minutes 50 skirts sold out, I couldn’t quite believe it.
So fast forward to Autumn 2026…. I have been planning some exciting products for the Popsta gals which I cannot wait to show you all…. I think you’re all going to love them….
This is just the beginning ….
